The Move For Mateship website (fundraise.sammydfoundation.org.au/event/move-for-mateship) is administered by the Sammy D Foundation (ABN 26 788 461 065). By using this website or otherwise providing us directly, or through others, with your personal information, you agree to the terms of this Notice and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of that infromation in accordance with this Notice, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as amended (including the Australian Privacy Principles) (the Act) and other applicable privacy laws.
What personal information do we collect and why?
The SDF is collecting your personal information including:
- if you are a participant: your first and last name, email address, mobile number, year of birth, amount of donations raised, exercise per day and motivation for taking part in Move For Mateship challenge;
- generally: information on how you participate in the Move For Mateship challenge and your preferences about Move For Mateship, so that we can:
- contact you;
- verify your identity;
- manage our relationship with you;
- post you prizes you have won or incentives you are eligible for;
- facilitate provision of the Move For Mateship challenge to you;
- address or respond to any requests from you;
- develop and improve the quality and scope of the STEPtember challenge and seek your feedback
- manage your participation in Move For Mateship and other volunteering, fundraising or research activities, programs and promotions.
We will also use the contact information details you have provided to send you via email or other digital communications such as SMS:
- a post Move For Mateship campaign survey.
We may also use your personal information for purposes related to those described above which would be reasonably be expected by you.
We will not use your information for purposes other than those described above unless we have your consent or as permitted by law (including for law enforcement or public health and safety reasons).
