How do I sign-up?

Embrace the mateship and sign up here.

You can choose to register as an individual or sign-up your class and register your school. 

Once you've created an account you'll be able to personlize your fundraising page, log your movement hours and share with your network. 

How do I join my friend's group or class?

Share the following with your mates!

  1. Follow The Link: They'll send a link for you to follow
  2. Create An Account: Scroll down to 'Create an account,' enter your details, and agree to the terms & conditions.
  3. Set Your Goals: Enter your fundraising target and choose a profile picture.
  4. Optional: Invite a friend to join.
  5. Optional: Make a personal fundraising contribution.
  6. You’re All Set!

About the Challenge

What is Move For Mateship

Move For Mateship is our BRAND NEW fundraising challenge that runs during weeks 6-9 of term 3.

It encourages kids to have a positive attitude towards exericse, get out of their comfort zone and connect with their mates whilst raising important funds to support our violence prevention education programs. 

How do I Move For Mateship?

Participating in Move For Mateship is easy and fun! Simply commit to moving for 30 minutes each day over a 3-week period.

You can choose any activity that gets you moving, whether it’s starting your day with a calming yoga session, taking a brisk walk or biking to and from school with a friend.

Feel free to set your own goals and get creative with how you stay active.

The most important thing is to enjoy the movement and connect with your mates!

The Cause

Who is the Sammy D Foundation?

The Sammy D Foundation is dedicated to preventing violence and fostering positive decision-making among young people.

Established in 2008 in memory of Sam Davis, who tragically lost his life a senseless act of violence, the Foundation provides educational programs and mentoring initiatives aimed at reducing the impact of bullying, violence and alcohol and substances fueled incidents.

About our Violence Prevention programs

During the last thirteen years, we have built a suite of evidence-based, engaging, and effective, educational programs aimed at:

  • preventing bullying and violence in schools, sporting clubs and the community
  • educating young people about the harms associated with alcohol and other drug use
  • educating young people and their parents about how to hold safer parties
  • educating parents about behavioural impact and positive role modelling for their children.
